People talk about these incidents as though they're something to do with rugby. If they weren't ed up and fighting at Wembley they'd be in town doing the same thing.

Quote: Hull White Star "I actually apologised to 5 Wigan fans who were sat in front of us for a drunk, clueless idiot who was sat next to us, who everytime he shouted something his eyes were nearly popping out and he directed his Bentham rants at those Wigan fans, who to their credit never said a word back or even turned around.......until the idiot "congratulated" their win and only a 10 point margin (he left before Tomkins scored) with a tirade of abuse at them. I was so embarrased at his behavour I apologised profusely to the Wigan fans even though I've never seen this guy before in my life, but by God if I ever see him again at the KC I shall remind him of his disgusting behavour yesterday.'"

Doubt you'll see him at the KC sounds the type who only crawls out of the woodwork for big games.Which block where you in? We were in 113.

Me too, but I didn't see anything. Although I did have my head in my hands for most of the game

Stewards at Wembley are pointless.. they didn't even monitor the crowd, they just watched the game..

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?:

I must admit that I didn't see any trouble at Wembley, but was amazed how drunk and incapable hundreds of (very well dressed) individuals were in York station at 21:30. And they hadn't been to the match. Lots were waiting for a train back to Sunderland.

The Ebor was yesterday hence where they would have been all day.

The vast majority on the day were very well behaved, unfortunately there are always some. I thought horns were banned but there was a chavlet near us who blew a horn into a womans ear which started a round of choice language from the brat's parents that was only dampened down by the start of the game. Am I correct in thinking those infernal instruments are supposed to be banned? Stewards were nowhere to be seen after the initial check at the turnstile.

There was another person near us who was so horrendously drunk that he slept through nearly the whole game. He wasn't any trouble though and on reflection may have been one most sensible people there given what happened on the pitch.

That explains it - I knew it had been York races this week, but hadn't realised the Ebor had been moved to Saturdays (for the last 3 years).

Stewards were hopeless. I went through the turnstiles with my rucksack in my hand and walked straight past them.

Quite a few smoking in our block and nothing done.

They didn't check me when I walked in. "Go on, mate, you're OK" he said. Maybe he knew me.

(Half time) I was hit in the back off my head by one of our own fans as his wife fell on me so I got her up. He grabbed my hood with that much force it made me stand up then swung at me then he offered my friend out. Amazing what some alcohol does to some people.. (I'm 17 as well he was at least 50+) other than that, travelling and the result it was a great day out!

EDIT: They was a little argument in the next block to us, stewards didn't even step in until at least 5-10 minutes after it started, useless if you ask me because others around had already defused the situation..

Couple of rowdy lads near us (block 114), and something went on which resulted in one guy leaving with his girlfriend after a few people next to him got involved, stewards didn't want to know, not sure if he tried to climb over people to have a go at someone? But was three sheets to the wind and was just an embarrassment.

The rest of the old faithful did the club and the city of Hull proud. Although was quite disappointed with just how many fans left before the end. But you pay your money etc.

Only other annoying thing was the drunk sat next to us from Hull, but was not a Hull fan. Knew everything about the game and what Hull should be doing, then progressed to go on and tell everyone how s*** Hull are etc. Noone rose the the bait thankfully.

Apart from the weather and result, we had a great day and were definitely Hull and Proud.
