Just wasn't our day today.

I think the weather ruined the day completely, not as an excuse for why we lost, but the whole game was rubbish from start to finish. Add to that everyone being wet through, hurrying to get into the stadium rather than enjoying the atmosphere around Wembley, and then sitting in the stand wet through which again dampened the atmosphere inside.

Wigan played the conditions better, but it truly was a crap game. Uncharacteristic errors across the park, some of our younger lads looked very nervous at times.

Defence was good, but attack was very poor.

It was a bad day at the office, nothing came off, bad decisions, poor handling, and a complete lack in set completions all lead to a shambles in attack. Wigan were not great today but played a well dicaplined game and took the spoils.

some sensible posts and sum of the usual kneejerkers shouting sack the coach, am really dissappointed today, we just didnt fire , thought both crookes looked underdone and we missed lineham and arundel although i dowt there would have changed the result, where do we go from here, dust ourselfs down and get on with it, gentle has brought in a number of good youngsters and hopefully we will have a few more signings up our sleeves,

When they were leading 6-0 an 8-0.. We passed up 3 chances to go for goal..

We always go for goal in them scenarios.. Why change it now when it would of given the lads much needed rest.

I agree with those who said we should have kicked the available penalties when they were on offer. We could have got ourselves 8 points through those kicks, that would have alleviated the pressure to try and score of every set later in the game. Who's decision was it to spurn those opportunities?

The game was indicative of our whole season - good defence, poor attack. This needs to change pretty quickly if next season is to be anything other than yet another disappointment.

Agree about our recruitment. If we are losing O'Meley, Lynch, Tickle, Briscoe, Galea (that's a fair amount of cap I reckon), and replacing them with Paea/Walker & Thompson then we aren't looking better off imo. We need 2/3 genuine quality players imo.

The game itself the boys never turned up and too many players looked like nerves got the best of them. Wigan didn't play that well but they didn't have to really We just dropped far too much ball . As for next season think Paea will be decent signing but if looking to get Thompson and Walker again both players with potential but need more if looking to get higher in league.Should be looking at Winger cant just have crookes and Lineham .Also feel need more aggression in pack .

The prop is walker from cas. walker, paea, watts, Johnson, green, Bowden is a bottom 6 set of props, not a top 4 one.

Losing quality and experience in o'meley, tickle, galea and replacing them with kids is a recipe for disaster. I'm hoping we have a top class overseas forward coming in.

crookes is also a poor replacement for Briscoe and will leave us weaker
