What mind games during the second half of a derby were we need 2 points?? Sky replay showed quite a twist. Only thing is he seemed to bounce out of the twist without going fully over. Ligaments and you are looking at 6 weeks I guess if fully over on them but like I say didn't look quite that way so fingers crossed. If nothing else would be surprised to see him against Salford.

Well, that's we'll do. I'm just gutted that our most exciting strike player looks to be missing for Wembley. And I'm not that keen on Crookes. Loved that break of Whiting's today, supported by Shaul, would be very happy to see that combo at work more often.

If we'd lost today, chances are that would be us out of the playoffs. I don't personally see how that is in any way preferable to not having a winger (no matter how good) available for the cup final, especially when we do actually have someone else available for that position.

I also think that you've just forfeited the right to criticise Gentle for our final league position should it be less than you were expecting at the start of the season.

If Tom doesnt make i can see it been a long afternoon for Crookes against Richards.I can see him getting bombed relentlessly and he jumps like hes got lead in his boots.

I said at the start of the season I hoped for 5th but didn't "expect" anything. Well, maybe I'd expect to win at Bradford, Cas, Widnes and London. In my view we've a negligible chance of winning the Grand Final. But we're 80 minutes from lifting a trophy in the other competition. We have few strike players. We've just potentially lost our best one. I'd rather have a stronger squad for Wembley than mither about whether we end up 7th or 8th. The former is more important. IMO.

I do hope Tom will be fit for Wembley but I guess this now opens the door for Crookes on Friday.
Crookes imo is a good winger and deserves a chance now in light of toms injury.
Let's give him a proper chance before people write him off.
