| According to a caller on Radio Humberside there's some people in the East stand who are a disgrace for slagging off a player.
So in responce to the OP
will the east stand ever be the new 'threepenny'?
NEVER

| Quote Graham Richards="Graham Richards"East stand is populated with people who a) never went to the Boulevard and b) people who never stood in 3d stand. There was more to the boulevard than a wooden stand. As a result you will never recreate it at the KC with or without seats.
But don't let me stop people starting threads like this every month.'"
Can you do b)without doing a)?

| It annoys me that the only songs for players that get sung by a lot of people are the Yeamo Yeamo one, or "There's only one [insert player name"
I like the Joe Westerman song, and the Mark O'Meley one, but nobody sings them.
Be good to hear the FC aces song, I was born in Threepenny Stand song that used to be song

Only time I hear new songs is at away games, when people are most likely on the same coach coming up with the same songs and have had a cheeky few to get them past the "I don't care if I'm singing on my own" phase!
I still think "Stop! Hame time!" would have been a hit when Lauaki was here

There are some creative song writers out there - the saints game in the fog springs to mind as there were some good songs sang there. Also a few years ago now, away at Wakefield and it pi55ed it down - cue songs of "you've only got one roof" and "singing in the rain"

| We are probably one of the least creative bunch of fans when it comes to songs. Wigan are miles ahead of us. We only have 2 songs.

| Quote Wellsy13="Wellsy13"Eh? Is the only alternative to the best atmosphere: "no singing"?
And are you really trying to compare the atmosphere at a huge event like the Challenge Cup Final involving around 30k Hull fans all sat together with the atmosphere at a run-of-the-mill league game involving 11k fans spread out across 4 stands? You're comparing apples and oranges there.
A terrible riposte.'"
The point is Wembley is all seater and we all sing and make an atmosphere so the KC being all seater does not mean it has to be a poor atmosphere. The reason it is a poor atmosphere is because the songs are crap and the supporters have not had much to cheer about in the last 3 to 4 years. The comparison you are making is to a very sucessful era for the club.

That should have come with a sarcastic warning attached. Or is it a typical Maddy styled negative Hull FC comment like the ones we have come to expect of you?
Was it written as you contemplated suicide yesterday as your precious Man Utd blow a lead and Hull's kids were doing their utmost to hold the best team in the league?
Would you rather we sing football songs like the rest of the league?

| I personally feel that if standing areas where to be introduced to the KC, then it will make an impact to the atmosphere within the stadium. If for instance the SMC went along with a proposed idea to create standing areas; I'd like to see something along these lines:
I know it won't be to everyone's liking and I'll probably get a fair number of critics, however a similar sort of thing is done at saints' new ground and I think something similar could work well. Then again, I'm always coming up with stupid ideas that only I can make sense of
As for the songs sung, I think we really do need to up the ante and show the rest of the league just how passionate us Hull fans can be! The atmosphere is awful of late, people are scared to sing and shout and support their team! Songs give the crowd a massive boost and raises the morale of the boys on the pitch. It's a win win situation!

That's surely a lie.

Hello stalker haha. Negative?
What has football got to do with this? What has Twitter got to do with RLFans?
If it bothers you why follow me? Who are you on twitter?
Well you can see it was written today, you're not that dim. Actually the football was finished well before I walked into the KC to support the team.
Yes I would like us to be more creative, the Wigan fans were excellent yesterday and had a variety of songs.
So I really don't see what your point is/was.
