Kevin Penny could probably chase down Brisoce aswell but speed alone doesnt make you a good player although Welham is a good player he seriously needs to tighten up his defence before even being considered for England, Welham isnt even on the same planet as Briscoe.

I can count on the stump of an amputated wrist how many tries Welham has created a try out of nothing.

Ben Jones Bishop is a far better player.

I'd go Bridge and Reed.

Back to the topic, I don't think either Yeaman or Whelham should be in the England team. Both have been good in poor teams this year. Why would our national team have centres from the 7th and 8th teams in the league?

Bridge or Atkins on one side, Reed on the other (kind of obvious given the extents they went to to have him play for England).

Welham is crap, Yeaman isn't.

It's nice to have some depth for once with Reed , Yeaman , Cudjoe , Bridge , Atkins I haven't seen much of Shenton this season .

im not welhams biggest fan i think he jumps out the line to much looking for a big hit but some of you are slagging him off because he plays for rovers me thinks because hes scored a lot of tries in a poor side this year Butits got to be atkins and bridge for me

attack is only half the game though, his defence is garbage

Cudjoe and Atkins would my my choices on current form with Bridge close behind. Still not good enough to compete in this particular position though.

I know which props will be picked but surely Peacock, Carvell and Morley have all had many opportunities at international level and they get beat time after time. They maybe the form props but I'd like to see a fresh pack given the chance to play and hopefully move to the next level or at least get a chance to see what is required to be at the top of our game.

The three mentioned are woefully slow and I dread to think of the metres gained through the ruck by Smith, Luke and co. especially in the 2nd half of games. I'm up for Mason/Griffen, Mossop and LMS to be tried.
