Thought Hull should've had more than they got. You'll need to be more clinical to trouble the top sides. The 2nd half was abysmal stuff to watch, you seemed to get dragged into a scrappy way of playing and stopped playing to your strengths on the left.

Thought your pack was impressive and the left side was good which wasn't a surprise. Think you're lacking something at halfback, maybe missing Long and the right side isn't much kop either if we can make breaks there.

How long is Fitzgibbon staying with you? He'll have some massive boots to fill when he leaves.

in terrible conditions but credit to the bulls i actuall thought the shpuld of won but yesterday was a diffrent day and game and we should of punished them btu we dint like usally we let them back in the game and made it a tight game when the match should of been won in the first half. teams like hudds, wire,wigan ect woudnt do that and thats the level we need to be at

And then one of the several open players inside him would have had a walk in.Wingers are wide open for criticism when the players inside let them down, in this case the players on the opposite side of the field missing tackles causing Turner, Westerman etc to have to cover across.

Lyn was left with a 3 on 1 when the cross field kick was put in ..The trouble is the right hand side sliding defence is crap ..till it improves any winger will struggle to cope ..another poor part of our play is poor kicking game ..No wonder the Club is bringing player in to improve that side of our game

But then it would have to be a more difficult kick. All halves practise a kick into the corner, not 20 metres in. It would have been easier to run in-field than back track.
I take your point about wingers being left high and dry (especially our right sided ones) but no matter how inexperienced Lynne may be he should have pulled back toward the touch line and screamed at his inside defenders to slide out.

Turner's as much at fault as lynne but our whole defensive structure on the RH side is pants. No matter who plays on our right wing they get pulled in or left high and dry. I wonder if our esteemed coach has noticed yet?

Looks a lot better when Gleeson's there though.
