If he has 100M to spend for no gain in return then do the city a favour and build a couple of hospices and a spcialist child burns unit somewhere, then the people of Hull will respect you Mr Allam |

With the change in council due Thursday and the new administration will have little truck with this man or his hare brained schemes. When he says he wants to buy the KC thats not exactly true, he wants it for next to nothing and the current council would give him it just to prove a point. Thank goodness for the elections coming now, any longer and this lt would have sold him it for a £1. He needs the stadium for collateral to raise loans to carry anything forward and if I was a city fan I would worry where he would take them.
Let him take his plans off to Melton and see how long that one lasts.

I just don't understand why the HDM haven't asked, point blank.
"Mr Allam, in order to go ahead with your plans you'd need to secure funding of about £60m initially, you don't currently have assets to secure this amount against, so unless you can buy the KC for a knockdown price, then you're telling porkies, just a bit, aren't you?"

Also, from my understanding, the land he's after in Melton is worth WAY more as a resedential development, would anyone sell him it? |
