Unimpressed, if this is our only signing, he'll be ok for cover but we have lost 2 players who can really make an impact, shows how dire the situation is. Quota spot too.

My hubby agrees with you , I am not so sure though tbf Hubby has seen Phelps play more than me, so I hope he is correct.

Ok I guess none of us are jumping up and down at this news but he signed for Wigan who don't sign bad players and he would get a berth with many SL teams.

He's a good player who if he stays injury free will add quality and versatility in a number of positions and signing him will undoubtedly strengthen our squad.

Clearly this is a last resort signing but what do you expect with less then a week to go to the new season?

Good signing for you lot, can play in a few positions, although he's clearly best at 1, especially coming in as 3rd reciever, he can put some real bullet passes out to the wings.
