Big advantage finishing 4th over 5th. If you finish 4th you have the advantage of getting away with a defeat whereas finishing 5th means your in sudden death from the outset.

4th would likely mean wigan away followed a week later by leeds at home, whereas 5th would mean wakey/cas at home followed by a trip to headingley/knowsley road to take on a leeds or saints side who have been battered by wigan a week earlier.
