Listened for the first time expecting to hear something interesting or at least someone at the club explain whats going on, and what a lot of dross that was, Humbersides sportstalk is miles better.

It's an appauling radio station, I never bother with it.

I enjoyed the recent Mark o Meley and Danny Wasbrook shows on KCFM but once I saw the line up for Wednesday with a Marketing and Foundation Officer I kind of guessed what kind of show they were putting on!

Surely programmes like Airlie Night and Robins Night dont have to be purely about what happens on the pitch on a sunday afternoon.

Plus the content was advertised beforehand, so quite why people listened to it expecting something completely different is beyond me.

Some fans are yes. At the same time though the programme needs to be flexible enough to deal with topical things like the assistant coach walking out during the day. Fans wanted answers to that and got nothing.

It's a magazine program with a bi-weekly appearance from Rule to answer a handful of emails and calls. It isn't our own personal version of Watchdog and was never presented as such.

and that in itself may be the exact reason why the show gets so much negative press. Ive heard it knocked for James Rules spin and now it's knocked for dodging the difficult conversations about Dennis walking out. Maybe they should look at dealing with some of the difficult questions rather than pre-planned positive trumpet blowing?
