| Quote The problem is things will not change, because it will be very few who feel and act the same way. Rule we see these bunch of emails and have a very generic reply ready to paste into each one.
The only way the club will actually sit up and take notice is if a large percentage of people stop attending home games and they are left with just the 8000+ season ticket holders. Because that will hurt them financialy a handful of people not buying merchandise wont hurt them as there are still plenty of others who will buy merchandise.'"
I'm not expecting my email or actions to prompt anything.....but not doing these or not expressing my feelings isn't the answer either. |

Dear Mr Rule,
I have been a loyal Hull FC fan for the past 30 years and during that time I have experienced some dramatic highs and some very woeful lows, but I have remained a fan regardless. The past 12 years I have had a season pass and each year I renew with faith and optimism for the season ahead. At the end of last season I thought hard and long at renewing my pass (this is the first time I've had to think about renewing) but I decided to go for it in the hope that I would see a marked improvement in performances this season.
Unfortunately this hasn't materialised. I can accept being beaten and I can accept losing, but what I cannot accept and what I cannot stomach at the moment is the style of rugby we are playing and the fact that as the weeks and months go on we are getting progressively worse. I have never in all the years watching Hull FC been so bored and un-entertained as I am at the moment. like I say I can accept a defeat if I feel we have given our all and I have at least been entertained....this simply isn't happening.
I, like many fans, spend additional monies on Hull FC through shirts and leisure wear etc. However last month I drew the line at spending anymore money on Hull FC this year in protest to what has become a dire situation. This protest has costs your club due to the fact I was willing to pay a few hundred pounds on Hull FC gear for my hols in September. I cannot no longer accept the inept displays, poor tactics, awful playing style, lack of creativity, no support play, one out rugby and little or no passion.
You Mr Rule and the board owe me and many thousands of fans something in return for our loyal support.....I ask of you this.....remove our coaching set up from their posts with immediate effect and accept that the cheap options you have gone for regards coaches (since McRea left) has by and large failed. Messer's Kear and Sharp were sacked for a better win % than Agar has, the unfortunate Mr Sharp also having to deal with the Cooke fiasco and the fall out at that time. Once you have removed Mr Agar and Mr J Sharp from their post you and the board go out and get what the fans are calling out for....a proven quality first team coach...no Steve McNamara's please!!!!
My protest can be short lived.....however if things don't improve and improve THIS YEAR, then that protest will result in me not renewing my pass for next year or purchasing anything to do with Hull FC until things change.
Please sort this mess out!

Funny enough I sent a similar message to him after our 6th defeat in a row. I asked why we never appointed a World Class coach when Sharp was sacked, stressing that we are the 2nd best supported team in SL and we deserve one. I told him in no uncertain terms that although I like Agar and think he is a "good" coach he will never win us anything. i have sent a very similar email aswell.i reminded him,that he was only a front for the directors & shareholders(kath & GARY hetherington)and that the final decisions would fall on their heads(or bank balance).i think rule would get rid of him now,but obviously answers to kath & co |

This is my e mail but he wont give a toss but i feel better for sending it !!!
The situation we find ourselves in at the minute is totally unacceptable
We are the top of tables with A grade licence, merchadising, FANS and stadium why do we have to put up with these inept performances week in week out
I will never stop going to games whatever I love this club and have been attending games since i was in a pram 38 years ago, I bring my 16 year old daughter to games and spend money in the shop with Shirts T Shirts etc
You will probably blame injuries etc etc but that will not wash we are watching a team playing with no pride in the BLACK AND WHITE I cannot accept this and will not accept this
We are the fans we spend good money that we could spend on other pastimes
You and the board know what is right and i have to believe that you will do what is best for this Club as you are employed to make these decisions. And not take the cheap option as we always seem to do.
