Only way that would happen is if the get rid of sharp and appoint a DOR to work alongside agar but leave him as head coach

| Then none of you saw York play when Agar was a rookie coach. They were a very entertaining team to watch and won the league. It may not be superleague but he has imo got the potential to be a top coach.I say give the guy a chance, let him get rid of the deadwood and let him get his own players in and then judge him.

he hasn't even learnt how to use his interchanges yet, just how long do we have to wait
and we keep hearing 'give him chance to shift the deadwood' so why did he renew Radford for another year before the season even started, he is the very definition of past-it plodding deadwood.

How long do we wait for him to master the basics like bench rotation FFS?
And he had a chance to get shot of some of the deadwood already. He failed to take it. In fact he extended the contracts of some of it.

I think the more sensible suppoerters accept that some things are out of Agars hands, like some of the dross we have in the already when he took over, and I think everyone accepts that the squad he is working with is average at best, I wouldnt necessarly say that he would have done a bad job even if we didnt make the play offs this year such is the lack of quality in the squad.
The above though is no excuse for his baffling use of the interchanges, our complete lack of organisation in attack especially regarding set plays, and generally not trying anything other then 5 drives and a kick, those are the main points people are making and they are very valid in my opinion.
You also say that he needs to be given a chance to get rid of the deadwood, which is a fair point considering the short amount of time he has been in the job, but has he shown any evidence of wanting to do this? As a poster already mentioned he extended Radfords contract and plays him in the backrow when he is really a front rower at best, Thorman was recruited under him and he persists to play him week in and week out, while a talented but flawed player like Hall is left out in the cold.

Thats a bit unfair really. Most of the deadwood was/are under contract when he took over and you can only play with what you have got. With the interchanges i can only guess to why he would use it that way, maybe lack of quailty.Imo we have not got 17 good players in the whole squad.Everyone makes mistakes and you can only learn by them. The Radford resigning was one of them so i agree with you on that one.I will be praying he goes to Union at the end of this season .

I really don't know the answer to that one but there must be a reason for it.Next time i see him i will ask and hope he gives me a answer and then i will let everyone know.

He can't master bench rotation so I don't see any point in waiting any longer, taxi for Agar please.

| Was Agar in charge during our 13 match in unbeaten run? Okay Kear leaving and if the rumours are to be believed may have acted as initial motivation but he managed to keep it up for a long time. We played some attractive though not "expansive" rugby during that period too, so how does that sit with the view he isn't up to the permanent job now?

Let him go learn his trade at a lower level then come back when he has proven himself. A top club is not somehwere for a rookie coach to learn the ropes

no Sharp was in charge during our 13game run, Agar was in charge of a couple of games only.

After the signings he made, I guess some people have accepted maybe he has a plan for a way forward for the club.
Then in one fatal moronic act, he reminds us why he is simply not a coach for SL. Did he forget he had 4 players he could use on the bench? Once again plays radford at loose man. I know, it constantly isn't working so lets just carry on with this idiotic tactic indefinitely. Great plan. We need attacking options, I for one am surprised he hasn't put Moa at stand off.. Sick of watching this cack. Change the tactics or go. Your choice agar. If players are not doing what you want them to do, drop them, no exceptions.

| People seem to be banging on about this interchange policy. but maybe what we had on the bench wasnt any better than the options we already had on the pitch!

I think one fact that is not in dispute, is that the modern game is for 17 players.
