I think the salary cap is a great idea, but that has been in place since 1996
Another idea would be to increase it slightly to attract talent from the NRL at a younger age then 30+. Probably not practical and my idea is full of flaws, but just a thought |

Fair point however we have to invest in our homegrown talent which is why overseas players are to become gradually less.This then gives us hopefully the opportunity to compete with more experience in all positions in Internationals. I think all the measures create more opportunities for the sport across more clubs thus attracting more fans/revenue/recognition to the sport. It would be great to be a top 4 team consitently however this season is a wake up call for a lot of clubs, it is not on a plate you have to recruit well, coach well and play well and hopefully at some point we at FC will realise that |

I think Warrington, Bulls, Cats and Wigan will all get better in the second half of the season and put pressure on the current top 8. We are vulnerable and that is down to losing at home to Wire, Wakey and Cas, all games we should have won.

Hopefully we will take note, but i trust Agar knows what he is doing.
Hopefully they will never not allow imports from Australia and such to play in the Superleague, as they can benefit our younger players in a game sense, and to handle the pressures of being a proffessional. No offence to many English players, but they are thick as
I think it's great for fringe players to learn a new style of their game from the other side of the world. I will always remember seeing Berrigan sat with Danny Houghton with his exclusion of the squad for the challenge cup final last year. I think i'd rather be comforted by Berrigan than Kingy |
