I disagree that it's a [ifar[/i more capable squad. What they do have is a much better hallfback combo and possibly a more balanced mix of players. And far fewer injuries/missing players as well.

I completely agree about the coach. Consistency has been the key to their success IMO.

credit to Morgan though, his signings (except Crossman and Mills) have all been exactly the players he needed, and he wasn't afraid to say 'thanks but good luck' to several players who won him promotion either, because he knew he had to replace them.

we are going to suffer the hangover of Peter Sharps poor recruitment for another couple of years yet. All we needed in 2006 was an impact prop and a replacement for Blacklock (I let Sharp off for Cooke because noone could have predicted that) we ended up with the past it Sing and Hutch Maivia!

of those I'd only class Manu and Berrigan as successful

the others are either players who we just didn't need, or were just awful
