| Henry Paul. Not up there with the very best, but a really good kicker all the same. Goal kicking Deacs has to be up there but definitely not in-game!!!!

I remeber his drop goal from about 60 metres out against New Zealand I think.
Was class!

| Think he name is Barry Eaton who played in the NL a couple of years ago. Didn't he share some sort of record with Henry Paul or someone.

| Botica certainly had a very high success rate but given that stats were not massive way back when it's difficult to compare accuracy percentages.
I always thought Lloyd was one of the most relaxed/natural goal kickers, Lee Crooks was underestimated I thought. Pearce with his union background was definitely one of the best I saw in a B&W jersey.
Massive kudos to Watkins/Fox et al when the balls were heavy and the pitches more so! Imagine how the kickers today would cope without a kicking tee.

| Mrs Barista wrote 48-12. Glad we didn't get Dobson, he only scored 24 points
Mrs Barista wrote Good to see Dobson struggling for form in the run-up to the derby
Mrs Barista wroteCan't see past a Rovers win in the derby. Dobson's in great form and between him and Cooke they'll kick us to death.
Mrs Barista wroteMight pull a muscle converting all his own tries
Best ask Mrs Barista

| Sir Sammy of LLoyd was the best I can remember in an FC shirt , Yes he had is worst off day against them over there BUT think back to the others like Vs Widnes at Wembley, he was slotting them over for fun!!
I recal best of all the touchliner he kicked at Swinton to get us to the final !! what a kick that was!!
But the best I EVER saw was Botica I have to agree , every try scored was added to it seemed, cant remember him missing many to be fair!!
the lad at Wigan right now is pretty good too

We're coming to make some noise!: |
|
| Barry Eaton at Batley kicked more consecutive goals than El Magic I believe but some said it didnt count because he wasn't playing in the highest league! But Hazem accepted defeat and not long after Eaton missed!!!!
I used to be amazed at Mike Fletchers kicking ability, the old dig your heal in style too as already mentioned.
