| Dont get why we need a full back
Its evident to most that a quality centre, halfback, front row and another second row should be a priority.
Maybe we can now also release Tuimavave and add another quota spot

| We have two spots if Carlos does, the inly way I'd consider keeping Carlos if the new rules come in and he comes off quota, but still don't think I'd keep him unless wage was very low.
If we can get a fullback who can play halfback like Sailor it would be better, Moy, Sailor and Abdul, would give us good pace and balance.
Like Trueman and Sutclifee think the club don't think Walker offers enough to justify his salary.

I think Carlos is done, he is always injured and as much as I like him, his body cannot stand the rigours of regular game time anymore, so I would let him go , as much for his sake as no player wants to be injured constantly.

| There were reports in Oz linking him to the Perth job, I think/hope it was a non story.

Heard similar and we have decided to roll with Grix as a cheaper option for next season, on 'The games afoot's' recommendation.
Makes sense.

| HDM just tweeted Ed Chamberlain joins us immediately, then deleted the tweet.
Would be good to cover Carlos and get him in early. Replacing Scott who’s gone.

I've heard this morning that Sailor is a done deal with Hull FC, so if this is true then I'd doubt Cartwright wouldn't be our HC for 2025 onwards as would imagine that'd be a big plus factor in Sailor signing (again if that is indeed true).

| Cartwright doesn't seem the type of man to backflip on a deal.

Yeah I'd heard Sailor made his decision on Saturday and that it could be announced this week. Wasn't Brad Arthur's name mentioned for the new Perth franchise too? I am sure there would be a host of coaches who would look at the Perth job after the success the Dolphins franchise has had

I would tend to agree.
Could you imagine if it turned out to be true though.
It would be an all time shambolic low even by our plummeting standards.

| In relation to Cartwright. Some none news agency posted it. Within the same article Cartwright commented stating "I'm contracted to Hull FC from next year and I am throwing everything at that".
So think what you want. But I'd say that's clear enough!

It's b0llox
I've just talked to Cartwright junior and he's assured me his dad said there's no way he wants anyone else pushing his lads wheelchair around for the whole of next season!

If he has changed his mind for whatever reason maybe it has nothing to do with the club? It would be huge blow but maybe nothing the club could control?
