I think it's just that we have different standards mate, you probably consider the way our team is being run at the moment to be a massive success since you live amongst much lower standards and expectations.

I think it was very basic. I am hoping Webbo will be a breath of fresh air. He was (maybe still is for all I know) more qualified than justine, as a coach (if badges count for owt)

He's responsible for preventing recurrence too, we've had a lot of instances of players coming back too soon and getting another injury as a result. Our injury problems might not be down to him but after three consecutive years of injury crises I think it's worth trying a fresh approach.

It won't be Pope's decision, he will assess the players fitness and readiness to return to the first team, and then pass this information on to Agar who will make the decision as to when they should return. Maybe therefore players are rushed back because Agar wants/needs them to be. But what I'm suggesting is that perhaps the information Pope is giving to Agar isn't accurate i.e. he hasn't rehabed the injured player as well as he thinks he has.

According to the FC site Pope has been here for 9 years, we've had a major injury crisis in at least half of those.

The ones where players come back from a short-term injury and quickly suffer a relapse, and the ones where players have been out for the medium to long term and pick up no end of niggles within their first few games back (not necessarily the same as what they were out with in the first place).

I'm not blaming Pope btw, it may not be his fault at all. I'm just saying after nine years of the same problems I think it's worth trying a fresh approach to see if that solves it.
