It's the rest of it, the man-management and diplomatic decision-making bit, I'm worried about. I like Radders - a lot - but I wish he was arriving as Head Coach with a few years' experience elsewhere under his belt.'"
Our problem this year has been our attack.
Who will coach the attack if Radford is head coach?

| I think its clear for two reasons Gentle will not be with us next season. Performances have been too under par too often and secondly Pearson will know that unless there is a change then season ticket sales will be down.
Having been a corporate guest at the Leeds v St's game on Friday, the difference is pace of the game and the basics being done correctly was immeasurable from what Hull have been serving up.
The speed the forwards ran the ball in to win the collision, the crispness of the passing. The willingness to try something different.
Why do those teams manage to do this yet we consistently cannot? Some of the Leeds player looked like they would have run at a brick wall for McDermott.
And herein lay the problem. Gentle will go and on balance probably rightly so, but the players have to be accountable for their attitude. I don't buy into players not playing for their coach. They are not professionals if thats the case. Lets face it there are a number of players who have been going through the motions more often than not.
I suppose the problem is, if they are contracted, getting rid of these players is not easy.

Gentle has a contract too. I think AP would struggle to justify his dismissal to a court or Employment Tribunal on the grounds of performance when we got to Wembley and finished 6th. He will need to be paid off. Unwanted players could be paid off too.

Doesnt paying players off count on the cap though? Although I could have just made that up.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| However it's done it'll be serious money, certainly when compared with Salford's restructuring (players out, not in).

Unwanted players, unwanted coach. Pearson is wealthy, but he hasn't got a bottomless pockets

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
Regards,
Matthew[/quote:3e09qe5x]:23521.jpg |

| If they don't play a game they don't count on the cap. So we'd have to wait for the new season (1 nov?) and reach an agreement. If we fail to do that we'd have to pay their contract up in full.
It's not going to happen by the way, we'll sign 1 maybe 2 "projects" from the Wc.
