Exactly. It's beyond belief that the culture at Hull seems to be that established professional rugby league players apparently need a teammate alongside them constantly telling them where and when to run. It's like we have 16 Forrest Gumps and one puppetmaster responsible for all of them. |

Can't be bothered to read the full thread only read the last couple of pages but imo we are a worse team without Horne than with. We miss him when he's not on the field. He's still the only real support player we have at the club.
As for the predictable drop off pass it's a coaches directive for me if you have watched the last few games you will have seen the worse culprit by far for it has been Houghton, not Horne and like a previous poster as already said Obst does it and so does Washbrook and even Westerman last week against Catalans.

Well I go every week and don't see him constantly dropping off tackles or lacking in speed. I do see him kicking poorly and using that drop off pass but he is not a kicker and the pass is down coaches orders. |

Tbh i think he does too much tackling and always has done.I wouldnt have given him the 2yr extension...a 1yr yes as back up and looked to bring in a 6 but we have got him and maybe a organising 7 and Heremia starting at hooker will take the burden off Horne and a new coach may get him doing what he was best at...supporting the runners.As for Chase....no thanks...couldnt tackle a salad and i find him vastly over-rated. |

I agree, I do not have a problem with different opinions or actually being proved wrong, but my god he does not accept other differing opinions and certainly not the fact he maybe wrong, and what amazes me more he does not even attend the games then wants to slate a people's opinions who actually do go and watch! |
