The guy could barely walk when he left the field on Friday. It would be nice to have a game where we're comfortable at 60 minutes and give him a breather Unfortunately, Fc don't do 'comfortable' Even the recent wins at Cas and Warrington were accompanied by a certain amount of nervous uncertainty with ten to go. We never seem to cruise to victory no matter who the opposition are! I swear blind that watching Fc for all of these years has aged me prematurely! I'm certain following this club has probably knocked a good fifteen years off my life-span!!!

It will cost a min of £10-15m to extend the east stand properly, build a new west stand and do something at the south end. With no council support any more it doesn't seem likely that will be achievable. I heard that all the club will get out of developing the land around the stadium is a new training ground. Doesn't sound much whe there ws all this talk of huge income streams for years to come. I wonder where that will all go? Also, for the first time, we currently have owners who are wealthier than the football club we share the stadium with. Interesting to see how that pans out

| Cust 3 points and a fine so deemed not that bad. Shouldn't even have been sent off according to that. Rapana 2 x 1 point offences so would miss the wigan game anyway I think even if he's not injured

So not the attempted murder Rovers fans would have us believe.

| The more I think about it the more ridiculous it is. Cust was going for the ball the same as morgue. If he'd caught the ball and still hit morgue in the same way but grounded the ball it would have been a try and no further action. I doubt there was even half a second between morgue getting the ball and cust hitting him. No one can react in that time.
The game seriously needs to look at the rules around this where it's a genuine contest for the ball, not a defnece/attack situation

| I've just seen a photo on twitter of the moment before cust and morgue collide, literally a split second before, and morgue is on his feet and his and custs heads at the same height so he was obviously falling so why no mitigation and a yellow card. No idea how to link to a photo on twitter (x) but Trevor gibbons posted it.
Custs hands inches from the ball

| Good to see Cust not banned for the next game (even though it means he's playing against Wigan!). He's a good player and nice to see him getting back to form after a pretty horrible couple of years clearly hampered with injuries.
I thought the red was ridiculous when you consider his intention was chasing the kick in the in goal and not tackling Morgue, who didn't have the ball until a fraction of a second before Cust arrives. Until that point it was anyone's ball.
So accidental head collision and a yellow at worst.

| I do think given the criteria for red/yellow and pressure to make decisions in 5 seconds the referees on match day have a difficult job. If anything a yellow card or less should be default and the disciplinary panel should link with all concerned have all video and take as long as they need to come to a decision. Perhaps the panelist?s should be vetted for allegiances too. In hindsight which the panelist?s should have and a lot more a yellow was appropriate at most. It ruined the game and rendered the outcome nigh on certain with an hour to go. Think the bunker statement in union might help. If completely exonerated the opposite team could lose a player for 10 to even up. Might be unworkable but a thought

To be fair, they have done this all season until Friday given it was the first red card of the year. Had it been blatant foul play then fair enough but given it was an in game collision then yellow seems to be what they have been doing so not sure on the reason for the change on Friday. Morgue was also clearly dropping in height if you roll back a second or two
