| It was a reckless challenge but he didn't follow through with any real force but caught him nevertheless. He didn't do himself any favours by grabbing Lomax by the shirt trying to pull him up. Not deliberate but a sending off. I'll guess 2 to 3 matches.

Deliberate?
I thought I could trap the ball with my foot, I missed and slightly caught his leg on his follow through. No malice in it what so ever I apologised to Johnny straight away.

Crazy action by @snozzer_gale. Red card inevitable for a deliberate action. That effectively ends the game for @hullfcofficial.

Whoops, didn't see that it was posted earlier.

| Having watched the game back, Gale’s red card was correct. Direct contact with his heel to the shin. No play acting on Lomax’s part. Could have been a leg breaker. I reckon a grade D and 4 matches. We were worried about keeping him fit, he’s going to have a few weeks off now.
Wynne’s yellow was very harsh, he’d let go by the time the Saints player’s shoulder hit the ground. Ligi Soa had a go at him for milking it.
A few observations on Kendall, the Saints scrum penalty was rubbish, Walmsley was stood up, in the scrum, it’s not the responsibility for FC to let him in and in actual fact FC had formed correctly. Walmsley’s none play the ball, rubbish. He stood up to play the ball dropped back to the ground without an FC player touching him, he does it regularly, stood up and Kendall told him to play on, he didn’t even play the ball. Kendall’s interpretation of six again has to be looked at. A lot of arbitrary decisions made but no consistency with Saints.
No excuses for that performance from FC. As I said in an earlier post, the coaching team need to sort discipline out before the Salford game. We’re going to have a few missing still, Sneyd’s likely to kick us to death, with the wealth of possession they’ll gain, from indiscipline.
Talentboy, I don’t know where your rugby knowledge derives from, you obviously have never played the game. By your own admission, you watched City up to quite recently, when you supposedly got fed up of the Allan’s. Time to go back now they have new owners, leave the forum and keep your abominable language to yourself.

Apart from his try our worst player yesterday was Griffin how many errors 6/7?
Connor wouldn't of made a jot of difference in them conditions also he hasn't had 7 months out like Shaul has been
Shaul made 1 or 2 half breaks but no one on his shoulder
Connor better passer but Shaul doesn't throw stupid interceptions or be an idiot with his mouth which results in penalties/red cards'"
They will love you on here criticising Griffin
Its only Shaul who made errors

The penalty at the scrum was for Houghton not binding rather than anything to do with the front row. I must confess though, I thought it was a differential penalty so couldn’t kick for goal…
The Walmsley non play the ball was the right call, it would have been a penalty for a voluntary tackle if Walmsley did play it, as the ball tackling arm never touched the ground, and to be fair, Kendall was screaming it was play on

Gales red card, I thought he tried to anticipate were the ball was going a split second after JL kicked it, it seemed like a complete accident to me, if the ball bounces of Gales foot and he picks it up, no problem.
Not sure he’s ever been that type of player, footballers may deliberately rake opponents shins, not so much in our game, he’s been accused of all sorts of thuggery which is way over the top, miss timed at worst. I’m sure the disciplinary will adjudicate with their usual fairness. And hope Lomax recovers quickly.'"
When you see the reply the front of Gales foot slightly grazes the side of the thigh of Lomax but after a delayed reaction by Lomax he went to ground holding his shin so he definitely played for a penalty.
Photos have now been produced of a gash on the front shin of Lomax.Looks deep but no blood so this cannot be from the boot of Gale.
Lomax did go down earlier in the game so possibly that injury came from that incident

The first one especially as he created so much room for Wynn and it wasn't a bit of brilliance by Wynn it was the delay in the pass that was timed perfectly by Connor that set Wynn off in to the space for Gale to score and similarly the one on the corner for McIntosh IIRC.
Also I think you calling someone and using of the word you have is pretty unacceptable.'"
This!
Jake set up Wynne’s brilliant run. His’s deft pass also set up Darnel in the corner.
No one should be turning on outlet player’s errors, everyone makes them, especially in condition yesterday.
I’m fine about criticiing a player’s discipline. I love Jake as a player, but hate his petulance e.g v Wigan last year; or Gale’s sending off yesterday etc. these actions directly affect the match result.
We’re only two games in. We lost to the Championss with a weakened team. We need to stick together, things will improve over the next few games.
However,

The earlier injury was a stinger to the shoulder.
He definitely got kicked in the shin just above the sock and the injury is definitely in the same location.
After the initial impact, I'm sure it does carry up further up the leg.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |

However some come on here with the express intent to slate certain players, the coach, the team and anyone who tries to see positivities in any of the aforementioned.
Canned Heat: “let’s stick together”
Status Quo: “knocking all over the work”
