I suspect Pryce will go to Bradford, and none of the above are first choice partners for Sneyd yet. We need to bring someone in IMO, but looking at the halves currently in SL it's a tricky market.

Abdull! Championship standard so he will leave.

And Hudds didn't look like scoring every time he had the ball or they would have scored a lot more points during the 70 minutes he was on the field.'"
Okay I will re-word it then. Hudds looked more of a threat in attack when Brough had the ball in hand. As for we scored my points when he was off my bad.

Subject to re-signing we have HTW, Dean and Abdull, Sneyd is contracted for another couple of seasons as is Carlos who can deputise. I could see some logic in bringing in an older experienced player for 1-2 seasons. He does have some reasonable achievements under his belt. 3 times Albert Goldthorpe medal winner. Man of Steel. Dream Team half back in 2 out of the last 3 seasons. And fitnesswise I think he's played 31, 26 and 32 games in the last 3 seasons. The discipline aspect would be my major concern.'"
He'd want a big chunk of salary cap and probably a 2 year contract with a 3rd year subject to appearances I'd guess. tuimavave and abdul will never make top class halves IMO, dean supposedly signing for rovers which leaves HTW if he's not also OOC and leaving. personally, I'd let michaels go and use his and pryce's salary cap to try and get a decent overseas half, We've shown with sneyd that a half back coming into their prime is the way to go, not another mid 30's half who we will invariably not get value out of

From what i have seen of Tuimavave he seems more of a player with more space to work at Left centre and works really well with Big Frank.
Six for next season is very important as Dean and HTW are both 2 or three seasons off Super League standard and Abdul seems to be going backwards.
Whatever you think of Danny Brough he is still a great player and virtually runs the Huddersfield team on his own.Still has a bit of pace and personally would love him here on a 2 year deal.

I'm not saying he isn't a good player but that it's a big risk to sign another mid 30's half back on a big chunk of salary cap

| Broughy is still my best halfback in SL, he can do it all, he just can't control his mouth, it's the only thing that lets him down its his will to win I suppose, if it's not going his way he lets everybody know about it, Channeled it the right way could change any game.

Would you have signed Peacock or Menzies at mid 30s pal?

Maybe but they were forwards, not the most pivotal player on the pitch. Lose a forward and you can replace them, losing your halfs is another matter as you know

I do get your point but I think signing a forward is more of a risk as they tend to play the game tougher, Daniel Rodger Brough is in fine shape & has 3 years left in him. Imo

That would be ideal, Walsh and Sandow for example are late 20s. Going to be tricky balancing the squad I feel. I'd like to see Ellis, Bowden and Green signed up asap, the latter two will probably want upgrading.
