Johnson is more a back row forward he fills at prop now and again longer term he could be come a prop as his favoured position but not at the mo IMHO |

galea can't have been one of them at the time of his announcement.
My view is that at the time we were looking at losing tickle, ogre and moa and bringing in johnson, paea, bateman and whitehead. Paea turned us down forcing us to look at taylor and now amor, and the bradford situation means we can't let tickle go and have had to move for galea.
paea, whitehaed and bateman would have been outstanding. amor (if he doesn't choose wakey or saints), tickle and galea isn't as good IMO in the longer term |

AP also said in July -
"We have made six signings who we know are quality. They are in the bag and we will announce them in September when we can.We are really happy with what we have got. They are quality players. We need three more, we know who they are, and we will get them."
