| Injuries aside, we need as much consistency in positions as possible. That inconsistency contributed to our poor form in recent seasons. You need partnerships all over the park, centres and wingers for example.
I’d keep Rapana at FB, Pryce at 6, Cust to 14.
When we get chance, I’d let Moy and Charles go out on loan. They’ve both had a tough SL baptism over the past year. They need to go and play in the Championship for a while and learn their trade being a bigger fish in a smaller pond.
Tough games coming up. We’ll be underdogs v Warrington, Rovers and Wigan in the coming weeks. If we can put our best performance together, we can win at least one of these games. Main thing is we compete and keep developing as a team to allow us to stay in the mix for the plays offs.

| Just shows how ridiculous and unbalanced the loop fixtures are, we're playing Wigan for the 2nd time in about 8 weeks but haven't even played Salford or Leeds yet. The sooner they do away with loop fixtures the better.

| I wonder if we maybe start Cust at 9 rather than Bourouh. Now we have Pryce at 6 would like to see how we go spelling our hookers, plus means Amir isn't doing full 80 again.
I would also maybe start Ese'ese and have Knight on the bench. I know having them together was effective but when they were both go off we didn't look so good in the middle
On the FB debate, I feel that Hardaker might be the best option but he is also our best option at centre so not sure, at least we have options 1 - 5 unlike the back row

Rapana not got the engine at 1 for me, He'd be one of my centres with Hardaker the other.
trouble is nothing happens at full back if Moy plays apart from his usual couple of errors from a high ballnever seen him break the line or produce a scoring pass. if we move Rapana to centre then Litten to full back is a better option although he does look lazy when played there Have to agree about Litten at FB. Was far too lapsydasical for my liking.

Cas 40 mins apart, I don't think Cust has been great, better than we have had, but not creative enough IMO.
Also to get the best of of Bourouh I think he needs spelling, he hardly runs if he plays a full game.
I think Cust played well at Catalans also. He’s perhaps less spectacular than Sezer but when fit I’d have him in. Whilst Balmforth is unavailable Hutchinson could have a bench spot. Cartwright is mindful of too much youth I think. As you say Bourouh is doing it tough at the moment but I thought he made metres in the cup game?

Or saints. It's like they paly the loop fixtures then start the season again I think that is the case. So, our home games so far against Wigan & Leigh and our away games at Cats & Wire (this Sat) are the four loop games. Then the main season commences. If we are to have the loop fixtures then I don't see why rounds 1-11 can't comprise everyone else playing each other once, rounds 12-22 are the reverse games with the four loop games at the back end of the year, with Magic fitted in where applicable. I understand why we have the loop games, as the clubs need to have more than eleven homes games for income reasons, but they could undoubtedly be thought out a little better.

He scored a couple of trys, but having watched it back, he was OK at best. I don't think he is the long term answer at 6, Pryce is, should be giving him a run at that position, same with Rapana. I don't think Hutchison is quite ready, hence the limited minutes.

Cust may have to do what we bought him for. Not sure of Pryces best position but needs must stand off at Warrington. My problem with Litten in the centres is his passing. He could be a bit rusty. I agree that Moy has not kicked on as yet so may have to keep Rapana at FB. Issue is second row. Salabio is quick mind you Ashworth is but latter is a prop. Jebson may get a chance to nail down a squad membership??? Tough calls for Cartwright

| ust was signed as a 14. knowing that he would be coming off the bench to play in the hooking role and half back if needed. then with abdul going so soon, we didnt have much choice with charles being injured as well i think hes done a steady job. good defence, taken some of the pressure off sezer, but not our no.6 going forward, dont think that was ever the plan.
now we have pryce, he needs to play as much as he can at 6, to help him create a partnership with sezer, asiata and the rest of the team, with cust interchanging with amir. then when bamforth comes back, its a nice headache to have. bamforth also being able to play at 13.
i also, think moy needs a loan. get him some regular game time

| Sure I read somewhere Cartwright said Rapana wouldnt play FB all season as the rigours on his body would be to much ...Would use him on the wing to as they wanted to make sure he plays most games ....Moy IMO just isn't ready yet. Gets knocked of the tackle to easy. Never makes a break. They say he's quick but wouldn't know ...The kids young and give him another year and he might come on leaps and bounds...Clearly Cartwright sees something in him .Nice to o have options in the backs though
