It's possible the Allams would want to retain the SMC even if they sell City. Just for devilment, maybe. You'd like to think the council would have learnt from the clusterfeck of shambolic ineptitude that's surrounded the whole thing over the years when any sale takes place but there's no evidence to support this aspiration. What's Allam doing ATM? Gone a bit quiet.

No new owner of the football club would buy it without controlling the stadium

| I would have thought it is in Hull FCs interest to keep the current arrangement if what has been said about the SMC having to contractually buy FC season passes is true. Pearson seems to be painting a good relationship with the SMC at the moment. Not sure if it is true or it may suit his long term plans to look like their is a good relationship in place.

True but they may want someone with past experience to run it

| Seem to be making a big deal about tickets on the day.
Why dont the club just have a mobile Van on site to sell tickets on the day.

Problem they had last year was getting the ticket stock with which to get admission through the machines on the turnstiles from the SMC. Then the Club had to employ people to sell them from the kiosk but I think the SMC kept their cut as if they had sold them.
I think!!!

Cant get a push bike near the ground now with all the bollards and barriers.
Making it very hard for those hard of walking to get near the shop..... is this against DDA

| So basically if you haven't got access to a printer, bought a 'membership' on the back of maybe saving a few quid for X amount of games you can attend you've basically wasted your money as they'll claw back most of that in so called fees for having the temerity to purchase a ticket over the phone or at the stadium (if indeed you can do this).
I enquired to the club about how to get the match day discount online for membership holders and no-one could be bothered to get back to me..fecking amateurish..again!

Our web site doesn't allow the discount to be claimed.
Will drive to KC, rather waste money on petrol than be extorted by SMC, really really unsatisfactory all ends up.
Council really need to resume control of SMC & ensure run for the benefit of community & both clubs.'"

No, they are releasing the bollards if any disabled supporters need to get to the shop/office. There is an intercom to let them know.

| Went to buy a car park pass today, couldn't get near the perimeter road, bollards and barriers everywhere.
I parked well away from the stadium, crept silently forward and hid behind one of the grassy knolls, when the security guard with the slavering Alsatian passed by on his tour of the KC I sprinted across the road narrowly avoiding the hail of bullets from one of the gun turrets, with my back against the wall I edged my way slowly towards the Hull FC shop passing the old ticket office now with three black robots protecting the wall where the ticket windows used to be. I dodged quickly into the shop, bought my £50 car park pass and managed to get back to my car just before the guard had completed his tour of the perimeter, PHEW a lucky escape, perhaps I will apply for 007's job when Daniel Craig chucks it!
