Well it's wrong. The minute you write like that on a job application or in a letter it won't even get considered.

| Apart from the h/back situation I thought Agar made some decent signings tbh, the only problem was he never knew how to get the best out of most of them!
Re Wakey I actually think Widnes will finish above them, in fact I am would not be surprised to see Widnes scrape into the top 8!

| Been thinking about this for a while, but didn't think it merited its own thread:
Has anyone noticed the striking similarities between our situation with Agar and the whole Kean saga at Blackburn Rovers? Promoted from assistant after the other bloke was sacked, poor start to his tenure which got gradually worse, then given a baffling contract extension/pay rise, fans up in arms, same old excuses trotted out week after week - it's uncanny.

| Nothing startling with his signings but it will be interesting to see how he gets on at another club without the guiding/binding hands of Kath et al.

| Quote: Old_Faithful_IAKW "I would personally agree with Superbowl Scott, his signings were his strongest point. The only position we was particularly poor in is 7; he signed Long (who was a massive gamble, but one of the only half decent 7s out there) and Thorman (who was crap). O'Meley and Fitzgibbon were particularly strong signings, as was Moa.
His signings at Wakefield are certainly improvements on their previous players but I would much prefer Seymour to Smith, McKinnon to Mathers and Heremeia to Aiton; infact there is none of Wakefield's signings that I wish had signed for us instead.'"
You would rather have Burnett or Aspinwall over Ali Lauitiiti?

He didnt do much at leeds last yr did he.Was kept out of team for a while and, personally, think he is shot.
On the whole...couldnt give a to$$ about Wakey and Muppet chops as he is wakeys problem now and not ours, just glad to be rid of the useless get.

Lauitiiti is way past his best for mine, so yes.

| Not excited about our last two or three signings but wouldn't want Lautiti either. He has been a great player but isn't anymore.

Now that you mention it, I can see it. There's even the consistent poor results without really being on the end of a hammering, and now the captain coming out with 'the players are to blame'. If Kean is slurping a cup of tea in his post match interview when I watch MOTD tonight there's something fishy going on.
On thread, I'm another who actually leans towards Superbowl Scott's post. Recruitment was about the best thing he did for us.

| I think Ali's best years are past but if I wanted a signing that was going to be used for just a year as back up or cover I would take him over those two players any day of the week.

Well of "those 2 players" may be off anyway
