I'll give you the part about not slagging players off as i agree, i also didn't expect a win last night.....however i did expect us to get some of the basic stuff right (in hindsight i guess i was being slightly dilusional) also the manner of the defeat wasn't acceptable in my view....but hey a may just come across as being fickle!

That performance last night was a joke. Not many expected us to get a win but we shouldn't be happy to be nilled and beaten by 46 points either. Our defence was shocking for almost the full 80 minutes, regardless of injuries the players out there are professional rugby league players and should be able to do the basics right, no matter who you play. We seemed clueless in attack too.

I did'nt expect a win last night either,i was hoping for a surprise though.
What i do expect of a team of 17 full time professional rugby league players is the ability to catch a ball,tackle,back up the player with the ball,and above all show some bloody pride in that shirt on your back.
I certainly do not expect to be nilled at home by anyone regardless of whether we have a full team out or not.
All teams get injuries,and i do think we have had more than most, but our club has used this as a crutch for the past two and a half seasons.
For me this is waring a bit thin now and after last night i have come to the conclusion,ok its taken me a bit longer than some on here,that are squad/back up players are way short of super league top eight standard.

I'd love to see how the likes of Man United and other clubs of THAT calibre in sport would cope with an injury list like the one we seem to be burdoned with over the last few years?
It really does baffle me how some of you can't see this. You dont seem to grasp the SIMPLE FACT that a team is weakened when its KEY PLAYERS get injured. Its not rocket science..but just for you,,,I'll simplify it.

OK...thats basicaly what we're dealing with. His main stabbing weapons are missing...but if he hits hard enough with his handbag (maybe inserts a brick or two) and doesnt have a sore throat...he might get lucky.

Totally agree with what you put, i thought we would have a good score put past us with the team we had out and especially against wigan who are by far the best team in super league this year. too many people on here cant accept some honist fair views and like always resort to grammer.

no you are right hull arnt the only club, bradford for instance have and are really struggling, i never expected to get nilled but expected wigan to have a good run out on us

The hammering was by the far better team, the best team in the comp by far.

Yet there are teams who compete with them.
