Really feel for Chris Green, in nobodies 17 on here. Not necessarily saying he would be in my 17 but must be one of the best young forwards we will have ever had sat in the stands.

Harsh on Horney but Shaul's earned his spot for the final, and there's no point having him and Heremaia on the bench together because we'd lose too much size.

I think if Horney plays at full back, we are going into the game not to lose, if Shaul plays we are trying to win it .

I never said Heremia won't play?? , on the contrary he is definitely one of the replacements, ie on the bench.

I'm saying the final replacement spot is undecided and its between Horne and Whiting. That's what I've been told by the same person on the Hull FC Staff who said Lineham is playing. Gentle's made his mind up on the other 3 and one of them is Aaron.

I'm not even saying I know the team, I was never told that, but its not then difficult to work it, and the squad out, knowing the above.

For me I wouldn't play Horne, he hasn't played for around three months so will be no where near match fit.

Jut can't for the life of me see Horne playing unless Yeaman or Crooks don't make it and he plays in the centre. Shaul doesn't deserve to be dropped and should retain his place. Would be a huge confidence blow if a regular fullback was dropped in favour of a halfback* who hasn't played for three months.

*yes, I know he can play fullback.

I think I would normally agree with you re. Rich Whiting.
But with our 2,3 &4 coming back after injury its a bit different, and PG is simply considering a more ideal contingency (in Horne) ..... and I'm sure he's thinking of back up for Shaul too. Of course Horne on the bench will mean the bench is lighter, there's always a pay off.

No-ones saying PG's deffo picking Horne on the bench, and Whiting may yet be on the bench. Its 50/50.

However If we lose a three quarter after 20 mins and Horne's not on the bench then we just have to trust Stilts gives another semi-final performance as a back. If he doesn't then we might just be wishing Horne had been picked.

Its a very very difficult decision, PG says the hardest of his life, but we just have to trust him. Whatever he goes with, it's a squad that will win this cup for us.
