Williams wont be seen as backup by Agar. He would not play the youngsters when his job was safe, he is hardly likely to throw caution to the wind now.

It's funny isn't it because as an assistant coach he's known to have spotted some of the best young kids around and also coached England Academy i think. As a 1st team coach he then hasn't really brought many of them through. Most of our decent kids were brought through initially by previous coaches.

its dissapointing to see only nicklas 2 games, lynne bowt 8 games and cunningham 1 game come through and play first team in 3 years considering the amount of players that came through before that and given how much the club bang on about the youth system.

How did he get concussion? Surely that tackle late on Friday can't have made contact with his head, or the ref would have seen it and penalised Cas?

FC's website says Long "received a series of blows to the head during Friday night’s clash against Castleford Tigers and he is still suffering the after affects of the knock." In for a penny, in for a pound on this one, it seems.
