Yes i agree and i have said before losing your first choice halfbacks does affect the team and especially the attacking part of it. It does not however or should not affect the basic parts of the game which we struggle to do correctly. The fact remains we hide to much behind the injuries when every one knew we would most likely have especially with Long.
However even when Long has been in the side we have looked clueless in attack at times and the players seem to be on completely different wavelengths.

But the whole point of being a coach is getting the players working together, so when Long gets injured someone else can jump into his place, obviously you don't expect them to be able to perform as well as he can but you expect them to know the plays we run etc.

Why do we have such a poor attacking kick stat we have plenty of players in the squad who can produce decent kicks but we seem to lack the ability to use them.
