He was at Manly when Cartwright was, so fits with the earlier statement of new signings being people Cartwright has worked with...

There's no point getting wound up over rumours, there are so many.

That's why I take a large pinch of salt with anything Pearson says.

Like his claim last season about all our new signings being from the NRL and being 6"3 and over or something?

We should still have 3 quota places, FB and centre, maybe Cust is the 3rd.

I still wouldn't sign him and don't think we will though.

Could be agent using the media again to get him a new deal.

When if comes to our recruitment over the passed few seasons nothing would surprise me. Hardaker being a prime example.

He makes sense though, as we are losing all our centres.

Signing a quota player as back up doesn't make sense.

I think it was Bower that broke the stories (still unconfirmed of course) of Hardaker and Holmes. He also linked us to Lafai recently.

I wouldn't have have touched Hardaker with a bargepole. He'll be 33 on the decline for the last few seasons and all the off field rubbish he is likely to bring. I'd have sooner keep Sutcliffe despite how poor he has been this season.

All about value for money, Hardraker plays more games, Sutcliffe will be on top money, he didn't leave Leeds and give up on a testimonial to sign for pennies.

Both similar in attack but Hardraker better in defence.

Probably spoke to him 2/3 weeks ago before the form of Balmforth.

Read quite a few articles recently stating that Hardaker is still available so be interesting to see if he has indeed signed for us or whether there has been a rethink with Cartwright now being the Head Coach.
Surprised no one has picked up Leutele yet, think he’d be a very good option for us.

Things do seem to have changed a little in terms of recruitment since Cartwright signed on as Coach.

I’m looking forward to seeing how it all pans out and how we are up come the start of preseason.
