did radford sign a new contract for this season? read it was a rolling contract too, if not shouldnt be too much to pay off!

my fear is AP got his fingers burnt with McRea and Howes and doesnt trust anybody else much outside our coaching staff

if radford was to go, maybe look at someone like ward at london or the york coach..

I think Danny Ward is destined for great things coaching wise. Someone will eventually give him a shot and he'll reward them.

The only UK candidate is Ian Watson for my money
He has really, really motivated his side with little resources

Other than that it’s got to be an Aussie
I also don’t trust someone who isn’t a good head coach now or a very impressive asst coach waiting to be a Head coach

Don’t take a chance on Fitz Head

Quote: Wilde 3 "Let's say, hypothetically, Sneyd skews one of the kicks at Wembley and we dont win that challenge cup......

You can change any scenario to suit an argument, but for me, this same rhetoric has been consistent for the last 3 years now and its becoming boring. Its only the coaching staff that hasn't changed in that time'"
Is that a no then? That your verdict wouldn't be changed had we got to Wembley (which we were 80 minutes from) and we made the top 5 (Which we missed out on points difference)

At least we had a crack at competing in both competitions again, under Radford. Just not good enough for some.

Radford should have gone after the 13 game losing run, and the hammering at Warrington where AP blasted the players let's be honest. He has been given more time than a lot of coaches get, and he will always be respected as the back to back cup winning coach but sometimes things get stale, and need freshening up

I think Watson has proved to be a coach who can get the best out of what he has available. His teams have played an attractive style and work together. For all the problems they have faced over the past few seasons and constant decimation and rebuilding of squads due to players leaving he has still managed to get his squads to perform beyond expectations.

Think he would be a good option to replace LR and one that would definitely improve things from day one.

I think Radford has proved he can get the best out of what he has available, I think he's proved it more times than Watson.

Radford's had a lot more at his disposal than Watson's ever had.

But that is the problem we didn’t get to Wembley and we threw away the Top 5 with that phenomenal run of losses that would have seen any other coach given the boot.

It’s all well and good saying what if but we haven’t. This season is already 5 games in pretty much replicating the last few seasons. In fact you could have easily put the last few games in with last season or two and they wouldn’t look out of place. Nothing is changing and we can’t just keep banging on about what if and give him time. He’s had more than enough time to change things and it just isn’t getting any better.
How many more years are we going to go on about the back to back cups? They were over 3 years ago now.

Watson has over achieved and got far more out of what he had available than Radford has done with far better resources and squad then Watson had at Salford.

Just about everyone had Salford down as one of the relegation favourites yet turned out the be Grand Finalists. Even after losing Lui to Leeds who was a key instrumental figure.

If anything with everything Radford had at his disposal I’d say he has underachieved in the whole.

I think our first five games are pretty much replicating 2016 as well. In fact I think we're slightly better, because I remember us getting a tonking at Widnes in the first five that year. So is it a shambles that we're replicating the 2016 season, so far?

He had the man of Steel available to him. Not to mention our current first choice second row, Jones. Some useful weapons there.

Still no where near the same resources, facilities or squads that Lees had at his disposal.

This just proves that nothing is improving and the reason for me the time has come to make the change. It’s still the same issues just a different season and different group of players.

Lee's engine room in Mini and Manu were done last season, they'd gone. He's replaced them very well for this season.
