| Still think he should be given at least a full week to get his feet on the ground. As Leeds match showed, we can beat teams with the current squad. I would wait for a fresh Jacob Miller for maximum impact.

There's no way he'll play at Catalans, our next game is then June 21st at Castleford, maybe the ideal time to try him out?, then Wakey and Hudds at the KC before the cup game at Catalans, if Horne is fit by the Wakey game then it gives us another welcome selection headache.

Very true. Forgot Cats was away (price of working away so much!). Yes, ideal time for him to arrive then really. In the UK this week, get settled, wait for his victorious team mates to return from France and start training with them next week. Plenty of time to settle in.

| Looks like it'll be Aaron at 7 for this week then. Which is ok by me, had his best game as a half the other night.
Not saying we've the best all round but building into best balanced squad in the league.
3 for pretty much each position, and the next in has super league experience not having to throw young kids in to bad situations.
We might fall short this yr maybe/maybe not but we're not very far off the very top.
Wigan strong n young-not actually that strong on paper &massively reliant on Sam T.
Leeds a massive chunk getting old together, namely all their pivots
Wires team is all round old, with plenty rumours surrounding some of their star men
Saints in a period of change but have big issues to address e.g. need bout 3decent props a 6 and will need a winger unless some of their kids come good.
Catalans got real potential to keep moving 4ward.
Gone off on a tangent a bit their. Main point being with a young half coming in to compliment what we have it's easy to see we're not far away.
If milky turns out average we'll still be good, turns into the potential star he could be we'll be right amongst it. My opinion of course!

it wouldn't surprise me (and I am really just thinking out loud here) if the club haven't actually managed his arrival quite well, let us all believe it's the visa thing, bring him in this week for some great news before going to Catalans, give him two weeks to bed in, takes a lot of pressure off, had Horne not got injured I think Miller could well have been here already.
as I say, just thinking out loud

Manila is, quite bizarrely, the visa "hub" for south east Asia and Australia. Makes no sense to me, but no doubt UKBA, or whatever they are now, have their reasons.

Presumably that's the official reason, although ferrying documents from all across the region to Manila can't come cheap.

I'd imagine all the documents are scanned and sent electronically

On the evidence it seems more likely that pigeons are involved.

| Tomorrow.
Booked in from Thursday night.
Got a load of this behind the bar.
He'll be lonely for a while.
While his lass is in quarantine.

| Miller's tweeted that his visa has been approved and he expects to receive it within the next 24 hours. He should be in Hull within the next few days.
