Only stirring it a bit mate, it came to me when AP said about all 3 boards having ideas and would be better if all 3 worked together with synergy, he also mentioned Hudge in that remark.

Just because he said it doesn't make it true. Just remember the things Lloyd and Wilby told us. Its more down to the fact that someone mentioned something early this week (cant find thread) and now this comes from left field.

I trust AP, he is a man of his word.

Who knows how far he's in Allams pocket (none of us).

It's a done deal now though so we've gotta roll with it.

I like AP, he's a stand-up sort of guy.

I'm glad he said those things and am encouraged by it. He has a good track record of honesty and that is what gives me the most to be cheerful about. I'm not going to wring my hands all day worrying. It'll take 12 months to convince me with actions that we're heading in the right direction under the new ownership. Ideally his ties with City will become weaker and weaker and eventually be broken. Interesting times ahead but I can remember the unbridled joy around the place when Lloyd took over the club and will tread carefully with my own views until I see for certain that the only thing AP is in this for is success for Hull FC.

Very impressed with AP statement on club web site, is fantastic news for all concerned, finally someone with a bit of drive and ambition, cannot wait for next season now, if he does as well for us as he did for City we wont go far wrong!!

to compare AP with Lloyd is really being disrespectful to AP, he wont break links with City, and nor should he, he isn't coming in to run the club, he is leaving it to senior management to do that, he simply owns us and will give us a single vision, a single ambition, a single voice and a single figure head, James will be allowed to run the business so long as he meets targets, we may even see an improvement on he field as the influence of the BOD will be much less, we certainly won't have Kath and her numerous agendas scuppering things.
