Oh under this board, well that is slightly different as they have ben lucky with crowds.
However you say they would not get rid of one coach without replacing him with better. I give you Bomber replaced by Kear, replaced by Sharp, replaced by Agar.
They have a proven track record so don't be so naive, I'd love someone like Noble, Anderson or a few others but it's much more likely to be someone like Macca.

| Don't know what's been posted on here and I'm not gonna be ar$3d to wade through all the tripe that appears to be posted on here nowadays.
What does a visual protest do apart from demoralise and alienate the squad?
IF people want to protest, then the only way you can do it which would make the club take notice is to stay away - simple as... A huge downturn in attendances, money spent on the day etc.... will hit them harder than any banner held up.
That will leave the rest of us who want to continue cheering the team on.
And before the bombardment commences, am I happy with the job Agar is doing? No, we are playing a very bland style of rugby, however I have supported the club through much darker times when our average gates were 4k at The Boulevard and when the club very nearly disappeared altogether in the dark days of Lloyd.
This club has fantastic support, this club has fantastic marketing both of which has put the club in a very positive position as being one of the only clubs who are effectively debt free. Coaches / players will come and go, we are here faithfully following the club we love, yes we get frustrated by harking back to my original point, visibly berating the team / coach does the club no good whatsoever.
Are we not The Ol' Faithful?
Keep the faith people and if you can't - then stay away.

No I'd want to play for a coach who has never coached a top flight club and failed miserably at international level, with his senior players slagging him off.
Sounds ideal.

Always a solid start.

What does a visual protest ever achieve? It's a way of getting a message across and as long as it isn't offensive it's perfectly valid. I personally do choose not to attend, but to suggest it is the only form of protest is simply untrue.
That will leave the rest of us who want to continue cheering the team on.
I can see how that would be the ideal situation for someone of your persuasion.

Give the man a badge. People are so frustrated precisely because we are no longer in the financial situation you describe, infact it's all there for us to succeed except for the woefully inept coaching set-up.

See above, and yes it does.

Who made you the arbiter of whether or not someone should attend a game?

Are you saying that in your world I have to display a banner myself if I want to defend the right of others to do it?

What am I doing about it? Well I've withdrawn my financial support from the club, the very policy that Mr Dibs suggested. I've also emailed the club numerous times over the past two years regarding the coaching set up.
I'm not sure why that is relevant to my defending the rights of people to make a visual protest? Or indeed why you describe those people as 'soft prats'. Infact I'm not really sure what you're saying at all, and I'm not convinced you know either.

the point is,i may agree with the ''agar isn't the man'' talk, but i want to go and support the team.there are other ways of protesting, which you have pointed out.i dont want to go to a game, and see the actions of the hudds game.i also heard some ''fans'' took their anger out on lee jenkinson in the car park? very mature!!!

As you say there are several ways of protesting, making an inoffensive and peaceful visual protest is one of them. You and Dibs might not want to see it at a game but those making the protest no doubt feel that there's no better place to do it. All I'm saying is that it's their right to do it, and whether you like it or not you just have to accept it.
I don't know anything about any incident with Lee Jenkinson so I'm not commenting on that, but it doesn't sound like it has anything to do with a peaceful visual protest so it's wrong of you to try and link the two things.

Well I sincerely hope you're right and we end up with a top quality coach should they get rid of Agar.

what makes you say it was a peaceful protest?whoever the female was,she was quick to start throwing the 'v' signs at the players BEFORE they even got to the fans to applaud their support.

Dibs only mentioned a visual protest so that's what I was responding to. If a girl with the banner was flicking the V's then I agree that's offensive and out of order.
So you agree there's no problem with banner protests provided they are peaceful and inoffensive?
