Well it's the last non-fed spot gone isn't it? So I should perhaps say that it seems to be our significant recruiting done. I would have thought anyone else coming in at this stage can only be very much a backup standard player.

More importantly, have we got any photos of Phelps with his kit off for a charity calendar? In my Google search I've seen a lot of pictures of Phelps the swimmer, but it's not quite the same.

I was one of those on a previous thread that was dead against signing Phelps, but I did change my mind after reading comments about him on the Wigan board and looking at his stats, I did state this on here.

I dont think the club had a choice but to sign Phelps because of circumstances in and out of their control, he seems a good player, who can cover a number of positions, he has only signed a one year deal which is also good for the club.

Injuries are a worry and the fact that we still have no scrumhalf cover (maybe Lee Williams) is also a concern.

A lot people stated Phelps is a better player than Tansey, not so sure myself Tansey on the field is a good player, scored alot of good trys, set up a fair few and had a big hand in us wiining a few games last year, time will tell if Phelps is better than Tansey.
