Wigan on the other hand will be much more difficult.Would rather have had Saints in the semi.
My only concern was Warrington found it easy to make 60/70 metres.
We have a problem now at 6.Carlos is wasted there and it makes our right edge with Fonua there much weaker in defence.
Our bench impact was really good apart from Fash who didnt contribute much and we may see him replaced next week.
Its a pity that young Mac is not a year or two on because he would give us a better balance and we could could move Carlos back to centre'"
people like you keep bagging Fash, why? he makes consecutive tackles frequently in a defensive set giving other forwards a breather, he also gets on his front more quickly than most. He's averaged 31 tackles per game this year, missed fewer tackles on average than Houghton both per game and as a % of tackles and made the third highest number of tackles behind Houghton and a handful behind Sao.
Don't know what his total game time is but he doesn't do badly considering all the bagging he gets about how he doesn't contribute! He's never going to be a world beater, he's not going to bend the line like others but very much an undervalued team member by far too many on here, the coach and indeed previous incumbent obviously see things differently hence he gets picked regularly.

I do not keep bagging Fash. You must be thinking of others but not me.
My point was He wasnt effective at all in this game like the others off the bench and didnt play as long as usual as Last took him off which seems to confirm my point.

Good post. He has improved significantly this year and is a handy player to have in the squad.

Thanks for the magnanimity. Serious question. Is Price's job under threat?

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| Fantastic result, congratulations to everyone involved.
I thought I'd wait until this morning in case I'd been dreaming.

Griffin stood up in the first quarter of an hour when we were well under the cosh.
He made yards carrying the ball when nobody else seemed to be able too.
It was a good night.
Even better being a Scottish Hull FC fan.
