The fact he has once again payed out a 6 figure transfer fee and is paying for an expensive overseas pre-season training camp, shows he still has the money, unlike rival clubs that are having to sell their best players and rely on young loan players from other clubs as they can't develop their own players.

It was only the "comfortable" bit that I was taking issue with TBH.

We deserved to win both games. The Saints match was the performance of the season for me (and that includes 28-0 ).

Leeds was a very scratchy performance but no less enjoyable.

I didn't dismiss them as "end of the season" games, in fact I was very pleased we turned in those performances when we had "nothing to play for", rather than giving up.

I don't know for certain if he's taking anything from the club but I'm sure he's not making his living from it. He has other business interests too; a PR/Marketing consultancy and a recruitment agency. I'm confident he's put in much more than he's taking out.

Perhaps Mrs B can look at the accounts and see if anything is going out in dividends (which is the most tax efficient way of taking money from a company) or directors' fees.
