Have to say I agree and on the evidence of Balmforths ability and talent after his recent performances then surely we'd be better backing Balmforth rather than signing a player who on the face of it doesn't offer anything more than Balmforth who is here, whilst also using up a valuable quota spot. Ultimately Rimbu is still pretty much an unknown and we'd be far better using quota spots on quality rather than more gambles.

I understand your points. But my point is that your fantasy is buying success. I think given the parlous state of rl Hull cannot throw money at players and must be financially prudent. its also much easier to delelop local talent into S/L players when playing in a top team surrounded by rerspected quality players.

Reading the comment from Myler regarding Balmforth, is completely opposite to Grix's opinion .
It will be interesting to see, if there will be changes to the backroom staff.

The staff will discuss Balmforth from different view points. Grix is the one who has to iron out his deficiencies. It’s good the player wants to do this too. He looks to have oodles of potential. If he could get anywhere close to Cunningham we’re lucky. If he fails we have a youth conveyor belt or apparently lots of cash!
