Good luck to Lancaster. Huge offer from Rovers agitated for by his agent has blown our salary valuation of around £40k out of the water. Or so the story goes.

You'd think so. But as Radford has identified (and failed to resolve) despite all the natural talent/pace he undoubtedly has, he perhaps lacks the physicality of a top drawer SL centre. Would he displace the centres at any of the top 6 on this year's form. Rovers already have Goulding, Welham and Salter contracted and Cockayne as cover, so to buy Crooks out of his contract and add him too means they are spoilt for cover.
