Nor should it stop me pointing that I don't agree with people's opinions that they believe they know more about RL coaching and match prep than the guys who's job it is ![]()
Just a small point - and please don't take this as an indication that I agree with the view that they should have arrived earlier - but there are professional teams who get together several hours before kick off, eat together and arrive at the ground together. So it's not necessarily the case that only blokes in the pub think this is a good idea - some professional sports coaches do too. With that in mind, it's not unreasonable for fans to express their opinion one way or the other.

Just for the record the M62 has to be one of the worst motorways we have,especially with the nutters performing around the M1 junctions at rush hours.If I had a camera on my truck I would make a bloody fortune on Police Stop!

Yes they spent the entire morning bonding at one of Omar Khan's restaurant's by washing the dishes from the previous night. They then cooked a huge (albeit medium strength) curry and made Nan breads for themselves before watching a bollywood classic.

M62 is still closed. Looks like westbound is opening later this evening with eastbound re-opening in the morning.
Whatever the spill was it must have really trashed the surface.

supposedly it was something called Benzole or Benzene which is used in the making of petrol and tarmac. but in its raw form is reactive and it corroded the road surface and thus the area had to be replaced. plus totally cleaned up in case someone decided to throw fag out and set if on fire accidentally.

Heard something similar. If so the Tarmac may have lifted from the base (or something) so they may leave it shut and resurface the whole lot |

The bitumen binder that holds the aggreagte in place in the road is soluble in Benzine/benzol, so the integrity of the running surface could/would have been compromised. (also Benzene is quite carcinogenic) |
