Commiserations on another derby defeat. There were certainly positives to take from your point of view and at 14-16 I admit I was worried. Rovers lifted and ran out comfortable winners but it was a genuine derby like we haven't seen for a while.
I have to ask why on earth has Cartwright given the goalkicking duties to Pryce who is clearly an inferior kicker to Sezer? As I say I was worried at 14-16 but had Sezer been kicking it would possibly have been 18-16 and the roof would have blown off.
As for the Cust incident it seems everyone accepts that it was an awful tackle and an automatic red card. The one exception being Cartwright but I expect on reflection he will think again. With Mourgue having to go off and face a HIA I expect Cust will be facing a lengthy spell on the side-lines.
I wasn't impressed with your display in the cup tie but this time I really was. Having done us a huge favour in eliminating Wigan from the challenge cup maybe you can do us another favour next week? I must say I don't think you wil
As for the future I am perplexed as to why you could think that your out of town owners with no affection for your club will be willing to plough in money ad infinitum They clearly will be in the short term but have pretty much made it clear that in 3 years tine they will be taking out.
They have more affinity to us than the likes of sewell and Kilburn have to rovers. Once the land is developed they'll be off. As for cust, it was an unfortunate collision. Under the current rules a red card but he'll get no more than 2 games. Win or lose next week, Wigan will still win the grand final. You may win the meaningless hub cap though along with the challenge cup, courtesy, as you say, of your bigger neighbours

Hull will overtake rovers in a couple of years. You saw yesterday how massive we are. 16-17k fans and owners worth half a billion. We dwarf you in terms of potential and the owners are here for the club, not investment land.
You've shouted us down at every opportunity from the early 2000s saying we'd never reach the dizzy heights of SL, then we'd be relegated in our first season, then we was going bust, then owning our own ground was a pipedream then we'd never get crowds over 10k crowds, we'd never get to another final, what's the latest? We'll never win a trophy? I'm enjoying a ride I've never been on before, you may overtake us you may not, I don't particularly care. Rovers are building a home with every amenity and facility we need all under one roof, we are selling 11,200 tickets every week and have a board that care and a team playing for the badge and each other every week. Rovers aren't going anywhere, and I hope Hull build a team to be up there challenging with us. Not going anywhere until your investment dries up?that?s the difference.

| Asiata is a proper player. How anyone gave Ashworth our man of the match in front of Asiata, just baffles me. He was the dominant middle on the field, even with Hargreaves on there, who played well.

Hull were valiant in defeat and progressing well, a better bench and I think Hull could have snatched the game, Rovers losing Davies and Burgess didn't help us and you capitalised on the edge.
The next few years are going to be interesting, Hull will keep improving and with the investments Rovers are doing we aren't going away either.
As for Lewis I'm confused by many comments about him, so Hull fans can chant about him been a sex offender which I have no issue with, they then chant about the paternity of his child again I don't have an issue as its banter, but then you take an issue with Lewis giving a little bit back to you?
Am I missing something or does he not have a right to give a little back?
Hull players where sticking two fingers up to Rovers fans, I don't remember Lewis offering out expletives to your fans?
Regarding Lewis, he primarily stirred the pot over a year ago, showing his immaturity and lack of intelligence, by posting inflammatory comments regarding Hull FC on social media, and also in the local press .Personally, someone in his inner circle should of had a quiet word in his ear, regarding these childish comments, because someone somewhere will take exception. For mine, Lewis is still carrying the proverbial chip on his shoulder, being rejected by the club he supported as a boy. He should be thanking Hull FC, for giving him the reality check he needed. Fair play to him, for improving his attitude to become a professional. In my opinion, Lewis with the ball, is a good player, but without the ball, he's bang average.

You could probably make a case for him to have been the MOTM in every game this year, unbelievable player. I said when he signed he would be pivotal on and off the pitch. Must be a dream to play with.

Asiata is a massive part of our improved attack. Gives time and space to the half backs. I'd never really watched him that closely at leigh but he is a great player. On another note, I do w9nder about sezers potential hamstring issue. We definitely saw less of him running with the ball on Friday than we usually see. Hopefully we can manage him through

Briscoe's try last Friday epitomised Asiata's contribution to our vastly improved attacking options this year. He commits defenders in the middle, making them unsure of where Asiata is going to direct the attack, this in turn creates time and space out wide for the halves to exploit. For how many years have we had to watch Fc attacks painfully, and slowly, go nowhere because no one in the middle was capable of creating the extra man overlap. Asiata's part in Briscoe's try was classic 13 play, showing how doing the rugby basics at high pace can have such an effect in creating attacking options. Sezer has been getting a lot of plaudits from all quarters for his role in re-energising Fc on the pitch, and rightly so, but the foundation of his impact is built on his partnership with Asiata which clicked almost instantly from game one. I too thought he was a decent promising signing when it was announced, but I hadn't fully appreciated just how good he is nor what he can bring to a team. In less than half a dozen games he has become the fulcrum around which the entire team revolves. His quality and work rate has been outstanding so far this year. If he can maintain this level of performance, we will continue to have an excellent, and totally unexpected year. He really has become pivotal to our continued fortune. I'm enjoying watching a proper rugby player wearing the Fc shirt having such an impact on games. Long may this continue.

| For all the slating and Micky taking we were on the end of for giving Asiata a big contract he's proving to be worth every penny and making a lot of people look stupid especially Leigh and Rovers fans.

| The guy could barely walk when he left the field on Friday. It would be nice to have a game where we're comfortable at 60 minutes and give him a breahther
