This makes a mockery of the MRP and the game as a whole.

It's a joke. Just appeal it until you get what you want.

Next season when we are due to play in the grand final (on fantasy island) Jake gets a ban the week before just keep appealing until he's free to play.

Saints had nothing to lose by continuously appealing it, the ban being increased would only affect England, ridiculous though when Leeds get bans increased for frivolous appeals and saints can appeal an appeal and get it over turned. The referee found him guilty at the time, the match review panel found him guilty twice and then today they change their minds..crazy

The sport is just turning in to one big joke and you couldn’t make it up………..well actually you can as they did.

The whole process from match officials through to the RFL disciplinary and board are an embarrassment.

With decisions like this there’s no wonder many fans see the game as bent when it’s clear as day that certain clubs come are treated a lot differently by the disciplinary.

Not been the best week for the RFL, Bateman being named in the Knights squad to run down his ban, now the Knowles farce. IMG must wonder what they've got themselves into

Talking about the incident in pub yesterday Tea time. It should have been a straight red card. Not only did he pull the arm once he pulled it a second time even further flexing the shoulder joint. Right in front of the ref and full view of the camera. Should have been 4 matches. How on Earth Saints have got away with this one is beyond all sound reasoning, oh hang on, excuse me disciplinary panel but don’t you know we’ve got Alex missing and Leeds have got Reece Martin coming back, if Morgan’s missing how do you expect us to win a 4th consecutive final?

It just doesn't make sense. It was ban enough for the ref to sin bin him at the time.

MRP found him guilty and gave him 2 matches
Upheld the ban after an appeal
Now he's free to play after a second appeal.

What's changed?

This is why the RFL and Disciplinary panel rightly get criticised as there is a total lack of consistency in the decisions and total lack of transparency. Its also ridiculous that international games would count against a players ban.

Clubs are struggling as it is to keep fans but when the sport itself does things like this it just makes a totally mockery of fairness and turns fans away in numbers. As much as I dislike Leeds they have been shafted well and truly by the RFL when they appealed Martins ban which was even for me excessive, yet Knowles makes a clear intent to twist a players arm and is rightly carded (though it should in all honesty been a red) then gets a ban, appeal is turned down but not declared frivolous yet St's appeal again and as is by magic Knowles is left off. Crooked is an understatement. where is the integrity within the RFL as it is very much lacking.

That's me done with super league outside of Hull fc games. The game in this country is done, it's an awful spectacle run by idiots who I wouldn't trust to run a bath. Everything from the coverage (Barry, Terry and Clark are dreadful and cringeworthy) to the one eyed MRP has slowly strangled the life out of rugby league in this part of the world. If there's a Premier league football game on at the same time as super league I choose to watch the football, that would have been unthinkable 10 years ago.
