This determines whether said player is wanted for a new season, forgetting all the groundwork done by the club, the negotiations between the two clubs and player. The reasons we want him, rightly or wrongly, and the logistical changes for the player, the wages, the contract etc etc etc.

All I care about is how Hull FC play, whatever Swift does, or doesn't do, is not down to Hull, once he's in black and white we can have opinions, am sure the 14 point club will all be watching the result.

Read it several times old chap and in its context still no misinterpretation from me, knew exactly what he meant.

You knew exactly what I meant.
Connor was clearly head and shoulders above anyone on the pitch that night and the difference between Hudds winning or losing a game we were expected to win.
