| Quote: ditchley16 "finishing top means you are the best team in the league,gf is just a gimmick to appease sky.as for Wembley, its not where u win it,its if you win it and how many times u win it that counts.'"
It's hardly a gimmick to appease Sky. Winning the Championship via grand Final is actually our more traditional method of declaring Champions.
Out of 109 League Champions, 70 have been decided by Grand Final.
When a lot of people started watching in the late 70's/80's it was decided by who finished top, which I imagine is why many people se the GF as a gimmick or not traditional.

| Either. Would just be nice to win something but if I had to choose I would go league. More kudos with that nowadays, but it's a close decision. I don't really rate the lls as a major honour, and the job isn't finished then either

Would still be happy to win the league leaders shield though, as long as we won something else as well

| Challenge Cup,
We need that Wembley monkey off our back, first and foremost.

| As a Wire fan, i found the romance of Wembley much more special than the Grand Final. It probably helps the memory that we won it. There was much more excitement around the Challenge Cup, again maybe due to the time we last won something. I also think winning the Challenge Cup drains you. You can see generally after the Challenge Cup the winners tend to tail off and Leeds nearly did last season. Whether its complacency or something else? Having said that the Challenge Cup is a better day, i want us to win the GF as i want us to play in the World Club Challenge. Taking on the best in the world!

| Challenge Cup win for me. I've waited thirty six years so far for a Wembley win and that's long enough. A Wembley win would be massive for the club. Knowing us once we win there we'd go back and win it the following year too.

| Lose in the semis of the CC but with a GF win would do for me, losing the CC final again would be soul destroying hence I'd rather lose in the semis if that was pre-ordained. Being greedy I'd definitely have the treble mind, then we really would look like the cat that got the cream, a small tweety burd and a place in front of the fire

I think it's because you have such a long build up to Wembley that it feels more exciting. You have the best part of a month of anticipation, playing games in between and praying you don't pick up any injuries. Fans tend to make more of a weekend of it as well, especially with it being the bank holiday weekend.

| To be honest after all the years of seeing seasons come and go and no silverware I'll be over the moon with anything CC or GF don't care though both would do nicely hahaha not that I am being greedy.
