He's done a great job for us and I wish him well for the future.
It wasn't a headline grabbing signing nor was it greeted with much enthusiasm by Hull fans but it turned out to be an astute bit of business by Gentle and McRae. Probably something that should be borne in mind with signings to some.

Exactly, the two positions aren't mutually exclusive. The arguments for getting rid of him at the time might well have been sound, but it's turned out that he's behaved himself for the rest of the year and had a good season. |

I'm a bit like that with Galea. I think it's a bit of a risk given his age and I'd have been extremely worried if he'd been signed by the previous regime, but I've seen enough from Gentle to trust that he knows his onions. |

Shame, really grown on me this year and I've definitely changed my opinion on him this year. Could clearly do a job for another team in Super League and if it wasn't for us having good young cover in the shape of Pitts, Bowden and Kent, I'd liked to have seen him stay.
