Most of our 18's came up from the U16's this season.

Quote: TommysDad "I thought the Hull FC lads did us proud and the Old Faithful from the changing room after the U16's was great. They really deserved that game although they made it hard for themselves at times. Don't know the names but the black lad on our left wing and the centre were great, plus Josh Wood at scrum half.
The pre-match warm-ups from both sides were good. Rovers full of 'let's get at em' stuff and Hull's just like the first team drills which shows the ethic PG is trying to instill. I agree, some of the Rovers lads looked like fully grown blokes Hmmm

Yeah, coz i cant imagine that the Hull FC boys would notice that the kids that they had played with and against all their lives had suddenly disappeared to be replaced by "bigger boys". Idiot.
Three good games. Hull deserved the first 2, Rovers the last one. Some great prospects on both sides. The future is bright.

Rest assured mate that they were all actually under 18s! The Rovers line up was actually predominantly under 17.

icon_lol.gif So Dobbo didn't play 7?

Just interested to see if any of the young lads who toured out here played.

Only Beharrell and Esslemont toured out of those that played today. Danny Kelso has had a cross- hemisphere twitter war with Willie Mason but not sure that counts. icon_smile.gif

Team for the 18's www.therfl.co.uk/matchday/results/report?8070

Under 16's hullfc.com/newsarticle.aspx?n=21121

Under 15's www.therfl.co.uk/matchday/results/report?8271

Some excellent prospects in both teams.

Would love Hull to produce a top SL halfback and at the moment they have 4 on their books that look like having a chance of making it, Rich Wilkinson, Josh Nicklin, Josh Wood and Harry Tyson Wilson (think that his name).

Thought it was a joke when got told the 18s had lost and looking at the teams it's even more surprising. Individually that Hull side is far superior and more experienced than the Rovers lineup

That's fine and I take your point, it was merely an observation like many others stood around thought the same.
Well done to the rovers players they deserved that one.
No need for the 'idiot' bit though, that's childish talk.
Well played to all the teams.

Wow. I know he was merely unsure of the rules at that age for older players playing in a certain age group, for example a certain amount of over 20's can play for the U20s.

No need for that. Prat.

Yep, he's certainly shamed himself with that one. Hopefully it means he won't be back for a bit. Everyone was commenting on how big the Rovers team was. That bald one looked about 30, and you're right, most people do assume the ages do blend across the teams.
