Quote: Rock God X "We're not Crusaders, FFS.'"

Indeed, it seems the lack of ambition is catching amongst the fans.

I guess finishing 8th and being the first team ever to win the Grand Final from there would be a good season, especially with a CC win and then winning the World Club Challenge.....

time for my meds

We are all supporters and we all despartely want to keep getting behind our team. HOWEVER, we must take heed that apathetic attitudes such as yours (Im not trying to have a go) are exactly what Kath and Ruley are relying on!! I wont be made guilty for finally admitting I wont take anymore of their crap or Agars incompetence no matter how many years ive stood by the "in any kind of weather mantra" - ENOUGH IS NOW ENOUGH!! After all im sure there have been many connotations of the meaning of those words to the club past and present. I dont believe a man made board crisis of completely their own doing and more importantly something that they could so easily put right is one that should fit under this mantra/umbrella!! WE ARE ALL FAITHFUL, we all however have different breaking points. The vast majority have now UNUSUALLY AND UNCHARACTARISTICALLY MET OURS!! It doesnt make us any less of a supporter, nor does your opinion to still go, make you a better one, just a more apathetic one. Again each to their own but I firmly believe that apathy in epidermic proportions (say 10,000 plus) is just what Kath and Agar need to continue in their quest to NOTHINGNESS!! HA HA NOT EVEN SURE IF NOTHINGNESS IS A TRUE WORD, BUT IT SOUNDS TOO RIGHT TO BE WRONG IN THIS INSTANCE!!

I was refering to Super League games as Agar was talking about how the start of a campaign does not necessarily point to how it will end.

In 2006 we went WWLLLWL then sacked Kear, we lost Agar's first SL game as caretaker coach then won the next 13 (the first three of which were under Agar).

Quote: snerder "I know we're not.
What I'm saying is, that from our current position, that would be better than finishing bottom.'"

12th would be better than finishing bottom. It doesn't mean it would constitute a good season, though.

Quote: snerder "I do not like the position we're in. I do agree that change is needed, but I'm not in a position to do anything about it, other than not to attend matches. I'm not prepared to do that, others are. That is their CHOICE.
I have supported FC for 32 years, I will continue to support them. That doesn't mean I love, or hate Agar. It means I have seen better, and worse times (hard for some to believe) and you know what, we came through them and won the odd trophy on the way.'"

It's not about whether we've seen better or worse times. I was there all through the times when we were in the lower division and when we nearly got relegated from SL. But things were different then. We didn't have the stadium, the attendances, the merchandising income, the sponsorship or the salary cap space that we have now. The fact is, there's no good reason we should be in the position we're in. It's solely down to poor management.

Quote: snerder "We have no divine right to win things.'"

Not that load of old cack. You sound like ICEPROEXCREAMMAN.

No one is saying we have a divine right to win things. But we do have a right to expect that a club of our standing, with all of the off-field success our loyalty has provided, should be [irealistic contenders[/i for every trophy available. As things stand, some of us are just looking forward to finishing 8th.

Quote: snerder "We, as supporters, do have the right to expect better.
It will bet better.
When Agar goes, it might.

I don't believe I said it would constitute a good season.

The problem is, that those of you who are obviously, and understandably, very angry about the present situation, think that anybody who has different view, is either a sheep, apathetic or ICEPROEXCREAMMAN.

All I'm saying is, it doesn't look like Agar is going anywhere at the moment, so I CHOOSE to continue supporting Hull FC, by going to watch.

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club. Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you. "Rugby League is a simple game played by simple people. Rugby Union is a complex game played by wankers." Or we can all stay at home and miss the revival And after tonights game on sky it is clear that we are not in the same league as these teams - not a chance of competing at the top.
