He's certainly one of our main men, vice captain I believe... won our MOS last 2 years, and that includes the years we had half decent players playing for us.
Im not biting at the fee comment. Just for facts.... We will not see any of the cash. |

OK, at least we now have someone to rotate with Houghton, but honestly, this is a sad indictment of the fact that our recruitment is now more about who we can get than who we want. 2 of the 3 signings we've made have been transfers from clubs with a pressing need for the money, anyone on the market with options went elsewhere. Back up for the halves was supposedly our priority and the closest we've got is a far from great 30-year-old bench hooker.

So according to some on here...Phelps and Obst arent good enough for us....FFS...Phelps is a very good player and Obst will do a job for us as back up hooker and half....we need another hooker and he will give us that if we are looking at a 6 and 7 for 2012.
