Well no but Cusack for instance isn't on anywhere near what alot of people seem to think he is. Hame is a very good player and is almost certainly well worth what we would consider a decent salary in SL.

We'll have to wait and see what he does in a Hull shirt I guess.

Well you said the club should never have signed him. Had we not signed him and gone for a cheaper option you would have moaned like hell about the club doing things on the cheap. So they really can't win in the eyes of some fans.

We have other more urgent needs though Paul.

Personally we are seriously lacking a big powerhouse prop and have been since Carvell left so Lauaki signing was exactly what we needed. We do also need a SH but there was little option for this season.

Centre and a F/B

Centre I would accept that we could do with one to partner Yeaman. Fullback, not so sure as at the start of the season we Tony to play there and now we have Tansey.

The way our pack has been performing we could have the best FB and centre in the world and we'd still be where we are.

The pack was IMO absolutely the right place to start putting things right. All successful sides have a good or great pack, because without them to build a platform your backs are going to struggle no matter how good they are.

urgent needs are fit players. end of

none of this "wait till next season" or "wait 7 months for Hame"

balls. we need fit players, and what do we do when they are fit? send them out on loan!
